Top Ten Tuesday: Book Covers I'd Frame As Pieces of Art

Hail the cover designers!!!
No matter how loud I try to say "Don't judge a book by its cover", honestly, covers do have big influence for me in choosing what book to buy or read next. I haven't read some of the books in my list, but am very tempted to because of the covers. I hope one day I will be able to read them all. Kkk..

1. STPC Books by Gagasmedia
Actually, all of the covers of Setiap Tempat Punya Cerita (STPC) (= Every Place Has Its Story) books by Gagasmedia have gorgeous covers and I like all of them. The style is vintage and minimalist, which I think would be great to hang on my bedroom wall. But my top 3 are these books:

2. New covers of Sarah Dessen's books by Speak
The new covers of Sarah Dessen's books are also my favorites... The stock photos are lovely. But the best are these:

3. John Green's An Abundance of Katherines and Looking for Alaska
The illustrations are simple but eye-catching and I think it will look great hanging on my home office's wall (if only I had it..).

4. Three Little Words by Jessica Thompson
This one is supercute!!!

5. Magical Seira #1: Seira and the Legend of Madriva by Sitta Karina
I actually love all of the covers of Magical Seira series, but I like this one the most and I'd like to hang the picture in my bedroom. The illustration is very dreamy and colorful!

So, here is my list. What is yours?

Top 10 Books that Make Me Swoon

source: here

This is a veeerrry late post of Top 10 Tuesday, a meme made by The Broke and the Bookish. But I think it's okay since the theme fits perfectly to Valentine's Day, which is TODAY!!! YAAY!!!

♥ HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! ♥

And here is the list:

Non-Indonesian:
  1. Noah by Elizabeth Reyes : OMG I melted when I read this book. I think the story is more that a romance. It's about how to love yourself and be brave to take chances for a better future. But we certainly can't take our eyes off of Noah, the sexy and family man boxer. HAWT!
  2. Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols : Grayson, Grayson, Grayson.. A bad boy and a pilot.. with straw hat and shades... GOD!!
  3. Racing Savannah : YA contemporary version of Downtown Abbey mixed with Cinderella--who can ride horse..
  4. This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen : This book shows an example of how a male main character doesn't have to be perfect to be able to win girls' hearts. How I love Dexter!
  5. Just the Sexiest Man Alive by Julie James : the first Julie James book that I read and I'm totally in love with every aspect of this story. Just.Buy.And.Read.It!!
 Indonesian:
  1. Fly to the Sky by Nina Ardianti and Moemoe Rizal : Keren abis cara Nina dan Moemoe memasukkan dua karakter ke dalam satu jalan cerita. Kocak, bikin deg-degan dan gregetan. Dan Ardian tuh tipe cowok yang gue pengen banget ketemu aslinya. Hahaha. OCD dia justru bikin menarik.
  2. Kau, Aku, dan Sepucuk Angpao Merah by Tere Liye : Mengikuti kisah perjalan Borno mencari cinta tuh asyik banget. Karakter Borno sendiri juga asyik buat diikuti. Ada ya cowok senaif dan sebaik dia?
  3. Restart by Nina Ardianti : Miss Sarcasm meets Mister Perfect.. Haha. Sebenernya saya sih nggak mabok-mabok amat sama sosok Fedrian Arsjad, tapi mengikuti perang mulut Syiana dan Fedrian itu kocak banget.
  5. All You Can Eat by Christian Simamora : Siapa sih yang nggak ngiler dengan deskripsi tubuh Jandro?? Selain itu, ceritanya emang udah bikin geregetan dari awal yak..
That's all..

What's yours?

Top 10 Tuesday

Source unknown since I got the pic from my friend..

  1. Only buy books I'm interested at, or at least I've read any review of someplace. No random buying!
  2. Finish every book I've started.
  3. Make review for every book I've finished.
  4. Consider the author's feeling more when writing negative reviews.
  5. Finish every reading challenge I've signed up and not to forget to update the progress post.
  6. Try at least once to read the out-of-the-box book.
  7. Improve my review writing skill, especially in English!
  8. Donate 1 book for every new book I get.
  9. Maintain my book blog more seriously.
  10. Enjoy every reading time. If I can't enjoy it, it is okay to stop for a while and start doing other things. My life is not only for reading. But, back to no. 2, I still have to finish what I have started...
